Wind- and human-powered sports are ecological and close to nature. That's why we keep our area on the Kallahti peninsula tidy and protect its natural values.

Annual activities
The annual meeting is usually held in spring at the KallvikSurf site in Kallahti. At the same time, members tidy the beach area and prepare it for the surf season.

Locations
Helsinki - Kallahti peninsula
The main site and surf hub is on the Kallahti peninsula in Helsinki.
Surf areas:
Kallahti bay, the waters around Kallvik point, and Iso Kallahti (Apinalahti) offer excellent conditions for windsurfing and kiteboarding. More experienced riders sail out between Itä Villinki and Kuiva-Hevonen, past Tammaluoto, all the way to Eestiluoto.
Wind conditions:
Winds from the northwest to northeast don't work for this beach. The nearest beach suited to a northeasterly wind is the shallow sandy beach at the head of Riveliniemi, on the other side of the peninsula. Watch out for underwater rocks near the shore.
Hanko - Silversand
We also operate at Silversand in Hanko, especially on weekends and during the holiday season.
Safety
⚠️ Important reminders:
- Never head out to sea alone — always go with a group
- Equipment failure or other accidents can otherwise become fatal
- In the old days, riders did long-board tours around Harmaja and even coffee runs to Kaunissaari, but always with safety first!
Nature conservation
Please respect the valuable nature on the Kallahti peninsula, which is protected as a nature reserve.
